City Encouraged to Fulfill Disabled People Needs

City Council encourages Jakarta Provincial government to fulfill disabled people needs in Jakarta. Especially, sidewalks for disabled people.
We are ready for discussing the budget. However, this thing should be concerned
"We should concern about this thing. It is very important to have special sidewalk lane for disabled people," stated Mohammad Taufik, Deputy Head of City Council, Tuesday (7/10).
Council Wants Disabled Athletes Needs to Be FulfilledRelated to this case, he reminds City to propose its development programs regarding disabled people facilities fulfillment in Revised City Budget 2018 and City Budget 2019.
"We are ready for discussing the budget. However, this thing should be concerned," he affirmed.
Based on Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Dept. (Disdukcapil) data, disabled people population is 0.14 percent of total 10.3 million Jakarta residents.
It means, there are 14,131 disabled people in Jakarta.
